The position of Health Services Support Manager has responsibility for providing administrative support along with planning, implementing and managing programs for the various business entities within Health Services. Provides coordination of resources and training to achieve the optimum quality in comprehensive health, personal, and services to our residents and staff. Plans, develops and initiates programs that contribute to the improved quality of life and work for both residents and staff.

How you will make an impact

  • Serves as program manager for the ongoing use of new programs and services (ie. UKG/TSA, rotational scheduling) for the various business entities within corporate Health Services.

  • Provides research and technical support to corporate and community teams as health services products and programs are identified, developed, and implemented across the organization.

  • Provides assistance for all administrative and clinical policy and procedure manuals for the various business entities within corporate Health Services.

  • Promotes and supports existing corporate Health Services and Erickson Senior Living standards.

  • Empower Health Services management and staff with the tools for day to day operations, to include; problem solving, conflict resolution, communication and customer service.

  • Facilitate each department’s full participation in the budget process. This includes relaying information to Health Services departments about the company’s goals and strategic objectives, providing tools for planning and analysis, training in the use of tools, technical and expert support when necessary, and evaluation and feed back of each department’s completed business plan.

  • Assists each department with compliance with their respective federal, state and local regulations.

  • Research, develop and implement information systems for Health Services that satisfy state and federal regulations (for example, Minimum Data Sets in long term care), that contribute to the productivity of staff, and that are cost effective.

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience starting at $8000.00 / year

What you will need

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a health care setting required

  • Bachelor’s level education in Health Services Administration or equivalent preferred

  • Experience with project management, administrative systems, and coordination of operational systems preferred

  • Exercises sound judgment, good decision-making and management skills.

  • Requires strong operational knowledge of Health Services departments and their regulatory requirements.
