TerraPower Manager, Records Management and Document Control in Bellevue, Washington

TITLE: Manager, Records Management and Document Control LOCATION: Bellevue, WA TerraPower is a nuclear technology company based in Bellevue, Washington. Manager, Records Management and Document Control The Manager, Records Management and Document Control is responsible for the management and effectiveness of the records management and document control program. This position requires advanced knowledge of NQA-1 requirements, in particular document control and records management. In addition, it requires a thorough understanding of the NIRMA Technical Guides as they pertain to RMDC (TG11-2011, TG15-2011, TG16-2011, and TG21-2011). Responsibilities: * Develop and implement procedures and work aids for the implementation of the document and records management system. * Support development of a project culture that follows corporate culture and establishes a rigorous document and records management process. * Work with procurement activities and technical staff to ensure vendor deliverables are processed through document management in timely manner. * Support document and records collaboration efforts on advanced reactor projects. * Ensure hardcopy records are converted to electronic records for archive and/or establish a process to store and archive hardcopy documents and records. * Provide direct management of project Document and Records Management staff. * Ensure that processes, procedures and systems meet the requirements of NQA-1, NRC RG 1.28 as well as project requirements, as necessary. * Responsible for maturing an existing RMDC program Key Qualifications and Skills * B.S. degree in technical discipline, engineering, business, or management field preferred. * Minimum of 10 years' experience in records management and document control in the nuclear industry. * Minimum 5 years' experience as a document and records management supervisor. * Candidate must have a working knowledge of nuclear quality assurance in an NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B environment. * A thorough understanding of the NIRMA Technical Guides * Ability to successfully interface with internal and external partners. * Prior experience maturing an existing RMDC program * High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products: Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook. * Strong oral and written English communication skills. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Ability to work independently and in a team environment. * The successful candidate will possess a high degr
