YOUR DAY-DAY:

• Lead the Android development efforts, providing technical leadership, vision, and guidance to the Android development team.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to define and shape the Android product vision, features, and user experience.

• Drive the architecture and technical design of complex Android applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adherence to industry best practices.

• Mentor and coach Android developers, providing technical guidance, feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

• Contribute to the development of high-impact features and functionality, ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards.

• Conduct in-depth code reviews to ensure architectural integrity, code consistency, and knowledge transfer within the team.

• Collaborate with the QA team to define effective testing strategies, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and timely bug resolution.

• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Identify and address technical challenges, ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-quality Android applications.

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

• Over 8 years of hands-on experience in Android application development, with a strong focus on Java/Kotlin and Android SDK.

• Proven track record of leading complex Android projects from concept to deployment.

• Deep understanding of the Android development lifecycle, architecture patterns, and best practices.

• Experience with streaming technologies, media playback, and DRM solutions is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices for building scalable and maintainable Android applications.

• Proficiency in using development tools such as Android Studio, Git, and Jira.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges efficiently.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
