Install, start up and continually improve cutting edge semiconductor processing hardware – both internally with process engineering and externally with vendors – to enable Micron’s leadership in next-gen memory. Success is derived through equipment innovation, partnership with the process development team and effective project management of vendor resources to achieve benchmark equipment performance. Equipment Development Engineers use creative experimental techniques and have access to a full suite of semiconductor analytics lab equipment and on-board system diagnostics to solve outstanding technical challenges. Provide CAE and CFD support through build of state of art CFD models. Support design progression and evolution with multi-disciplinary engineering teams. Perform advanced CAE and CFD simulations to evaluate and enhance specific equipment design attributes. Perform post-test reviews and corroborate the CAE and CFD predictions to test results. Conduct optimization studies by utilizing optimization tools, including DOE/DFSS techniques on components, assemblies, or equipment designs to meet performance requirements with the constraints of mass and cost.

Employer will accept Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
