Premium Parking Parking Operations Account Supervisor in Buffalo, New York

Position Summary:The Account Supervisor performs a variety of tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the parking facility and is responsible for monitoring the parking facility, responding to customer inquiries, and filling an entry level management role. This supervisor will work closely with fellow team members, Account Managers, and Senior Agents to ensure that quality and safety standards are met at all times.What is the schedule of an Account Supervisor?Monday-Friday 10:00am-6:00pmavailability to be scheduled outside of 10:00am-6:00pm as neededEssential Functions and ResponsibilitiesPatrol assigned area by foot, golf cart or truck to observe parking violations by automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, etc.Enforce location rules by the placement of warning tickets or citations on vehicles who are subject to towing; arrange for towing of abandoned vehicles, vehicles with expired licenses, or illegally parked vehiclesIssues tickets or citations for expired meters, improper use of specially designated or timed zones or lots, improper parking such as parking in crosswalks or other sidewalks, improperly parked motorcycles, parking in preferential areas, and related violationsRespond promptly to customers to process paymentsMaintain professionalism in all interactions and use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns; relay information to the Account Manager or Senior Agent as necessaryRecord and enter data collected for required citations/ violations including time, date and location of an infraction, vehicle information (license plate number, make, model and color)Utilize excellent time management and report writing skillsConduct lot audits and car counts at designated locations and timesInform management of faded paint on curbs, vandalized signs, and other damage and safety issuesImmediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Account ManagerProvide traffic control, when necessarySafely park cars as neededOversee employee's performanceProvide guidance to staffOther duties as assignedJob QualificationsRequired:Valid Driver’s License requiredMust be able to drive and operate a standard and automatic transmission vehicle comfortablyMust have good communication skillsMust maintain professional imagePreferred:3 years of licensed driving experienceProficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word Document and PowerPointPrevious management experience in the parking, hospitality or service industryOther Requirements:May be required to answer phone calls/emails/texts outside of regular business hoursMay be required to work at other locations as deemed necessary by their supervisorBending, sitting and standing repeatedlyPulling and pushing, as in opening and closing car doors, consistently for entire shiftMay be required to bend and twist as in getting in and out of a vehicleMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to push up to 100 pounds on a luggage cartMust be able to stand, walk and/or jog for an entire shiftDepth perception: the ability to identify which of several objects is closer or farther awayExposure to all weather conditions, including but not limited to: rain, cold, heat, and humidity

Minimum Salary: 20 Maximum Salary: 22 Salary Unit: Hourly
