Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a Continuous Improvement Coordinator based in Cerkezkoy, Tekirdag, Turkiye.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving overall factory performance through; the application of lean six sigma methodologies, working with the cross-functional teams for new projects to eliminate/ mitigate risks and wastes in the factory, and working closely with Danfoss Business System teams to capture best practices and spread Danfoss culture plant-wide.

Job Responsibilities

  • Determining critical actions in processes within the scope of Danfoss Business System and continuous improvement studies and mentoring continuous improvement activities,

  • Playing an active role in creating road maps in line with Annual Factory Performance targets, and ensuring the creation of annual projects and action plans by guiding relevant managers,

  • Leading and organizing Value Stream Mapping (VSM) workshops yearly, when a new product launched at the factory and/or for each investment that affects the flow, to identify the bottlenecks of the organization and to take improvement actions,

  • Ensuring that both process improvement and lean production culture are widespread at all employee levels by organizing improvement weeks for critical actions as a result of relevant value stream studies,

  • Continuous monitoring and development of the 5S+ system and culture, reporting on a monthly basis and ensuring its continuous development by ensuring that actions are taken to develop this culture, and by disseminating good practices between departments,

  • In line with the objectives of the Gemba walks, leading the way in ensuring the participation of each level in the factory, to monitor and report the process performance, and to ensure its continuous development by ensuring that actions are taken,

  • Following, developing and reporting the Kaizen continuous improvement process, to keep participation in the process at the optimum level by organizing kaizen workshops and campaigns,

  • Developing competency increase, waste reduction and optimization projects by acting together with process responsibles for the dissemination of internal and external best practices in order to increase productivity in processes in all operations,

  • Collaborating with HR and measuring the effectiveness of trainings by identifying training needs for the dissemination of continuous improvement activities,

  • Effectively managing direct and indirect (functional) reporting line teams,

  • Increasing the competency of line leaders, supervisors and blue collar workers in using these tools by providing shopfloor dissemination of DBS tools,

  • Ensuring the dissemination of improvement activities by consolidating the good practices performed in different departments.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,

  • Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Lean,

  • Ability to identify problems, think analytically and develop results,

  • Strong Communication skills with analytical mindset,

  • Technical competence in implementing lean tools (min 5S+, VSM, SW, SUR, TPM), 6 Sigma and Power BI experiences are assets for this role,

  • Fluent in English, native in Turkish,

  • No military obligations.
