Description

Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Robert Half has partnered with a business on the CT shoreline that has been here in Connecticut for over 100 years and is seeking a HR Manager for their wholesale and service company.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee recruitment process

  • Onboarding and offboarding employees across all 3 states

  • Coordinate with external HR partners

  • Oversee HR administration for CT location

  • Process Payroll through Paychex

  • Monitor workers' compensations, report, and document appropriately

  • Assist in managing employee relation issues, including disciplinary actions and performance issues

  • Implement safety guidelines and procedures

  • Lead conflict resolution and maintain employees' relationships

  • Assist the CFO with special projects and company initiatives

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree (preferred) or SHRM Certification

  • Minimum 5+ years of previous HR well rounded experience

Pluses: Bilingual in Spanish

This role requires the candidate to hold a strong understanding of HR functions and manage various responsibilities like employee relations, benefits, revamping policy and procedures, payroll, and day to day HR administration. Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources (HR)

• Possession of professional certifications in Human Resources is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.

• Proven ability to oversee the hiring process, including advertising open roles, evaluating resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
