Nou Systems, Inc. GMASS Senior Test Engineer in Colorado Springs, Colorado

We are pleased to announce the opening for a Test Engineer who will join our Ground Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Service (GMASS) in Colorado Springs, Colorado and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team known for the planning and execution of developmental and mission based capability assessment of the Upgraded Early Warning Radar in support of the Missile Warning, Missile Defense, and Space Domains.

Responsibilities:

You’ll be interfacing with the GMASS Engineering team, Space Systems Control Program Office, Combatant Commands, and Service providers to identify element and system level mission requirements, develop operational representative test scenarios using intel based threats systems, executing mission oriented test cases, and providing input into assessment plans for the government customer.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree at minimum, in a technical field such as Systems Engineering

  • 6+ years of full-time professional experience in areas such as Test or Systems Engineer

  • Possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience at a service Operational Test Agency (OTA) (i.e. STARCOM, OPTEVFOR, JITC, ATEC, AEC)

  • Previous experience on SENSOR or SMORS

  • Test and Evaluation experience with the Missile Defense System (MDS), Integrated Tactical Warning / Attack Assessment (ITA/AA), Space Surveillance Network (SSN), UEWR, or PARCS

  • Experience with system requirement elicitation, definition, and functional allocation to hardware and software segments and components.

  • Experience developing and conducting integration plans and procedures for software and hardware integration tests. Responsible for integration execution and preparation of test reports.

  • Experience performing integration and formal test analysis and document results for selloff of requirements.

  • Experience supporting the planning, execution, analysis, reporting, system evaluation, and field support for the Test and Evaluation at the system level to include strategic, space, and missile warning missions.

  • Experience with Combatant Command and Service Level operations and acquisition directorates.

  • Experience participating, preparing, and executing comprehensive subsystem and enterprise-level test plans and procedures.

  • Documenting test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system.

  • Understanding of the Missile Warning, Missile Defense, and Space Domains.
