Aerotek is Hiring Millwrights in the Food Industry

$40-$45/hr

Job Description

The millwright will be responsible for doing both preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.

The millwright will work on:

Packaging Line:

• Brands: Evergreen, Combi, Tetra

• fillers

• conveyers

• packers

• palletizers

• heat tunnels

Batching & blending:

• tanks, pumps, gearboxes

• boilers (steam)

-Chiller Tanks & Refrigeration

Qualifications

-Food or beverage industry (or similar)

• hygiene cleanliness

• power engineer 4th class

Work Environment

• Clean facility with strict standards upheld

• Very automated facility

• No strong smells

• Room temp facility aside from one main refrigerated area - the storage warehouse

• Loud when some lines are running

Team Size:

• 50-100 employees on site depending on time of year

• 8 on maintenance team

Culture:

• Maintenance team is really friendly, the team is very flexible and all help each other out, everyone loves to do OT, Good relationship between each other, Guys get on really well

Dress code:

STWB, all other PPE provided (jacket, hair net, beard net)

No jewelry or personal items on the production floor

No nuts in facility

Hours/Shift:

Afternoon: Monday-Friday 3pm-1130pm (*could change in future to Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat)

Graveyard: Sunday-Thursday 11pm-730am

Lots of OT during Summer

Flexibility on shifts is important - would love someone willing to help out in situations that come up (ex. Someone is sick, come in 2 hours earlier)

Pay:

$40-45
