Job Summary:

Application Engineer Level 1 provides comprehensive technical support to customers and acts as a key liaison between customers and the company by providing practical solutions to their hole-making needs.

This is a non-remote position, and is required to work in our Dover, Ohio location.

Requirements

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Offer technical assistance to customers, addressing inquiries, and providing guidance on product usage.

  • Recommend and customize products or services to meet unique customer requirements.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, working to find effective and timely solutions.

  • Collaborate with sales teams, product development, and other departments to enhance customer support.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions, configurations, and technical support provided.

  • Provide training to customers on product usage, ensuring effective and informed use.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong technical aptitude with in-depth knowledge of the company's products and their applications.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

  • Collaboration and teamwork, working closely with different departments to address customer needs.

  • Presentation skills for conducting technical presentations and demonstrations.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to document customer interactions and product configurations.

  • Continuous learning mindset to stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.

Education/Experience:

  • Associate degree in engineering or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred).

  • Understanding of manufacturing and measurement processes.

Physical Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site visits.
