The primary focus is to provide project management oversight to the transition of practices into or out of HMHMG. The Practice Integration Manager is also responsible for integration into the service area community to raise awareness of new services and new specialists. This role will support all aspects of onboarding from 90 days prior to start date and onwards through 120 days post start date. This role will be responsible for the oversight of the integration of acquired practices while focusing on improving efficiency in the integration process in an effort to improve patient, physician and employee satisfaction. This position is tasked with coordinating and maintaining standard implementation processes in all regions for acquisitions aligning with Hackensack Meridian Health Medical Group (HMHMG) by coordinating the efforts of provider enrollment, HR, Clinical Applications, practice operations and integration with hospital leaders and appropriate departments.
Responsibilities
A day in the life of a Manager,Practice Integration at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:
Manages integration process of all acquisitions ensuring timelines are met. Effectively communicates the status and barriers to meeting the go-live date.
Point of contact and onboarding liaison for providers and staff of acquisitions ensuring the transition is smooth resulting in provider and staff satisfaction.
Manages collection and review of required data to ensure acquisition timelines are met.
Project management oversight with key internal stakeholders responsible for specific integration functions ensuring milestones and target dates are met.
Collaborates and coordinates with purchasing ensuring vendors are set up timely and according to HMH policies.
Maintains and updates acquisition tracker and tools as necessary.
Initiates and manages payer credentialing ensuring submission is timely, accurate and does not delay acquisition timeline and denials are reduced. Runs weekly status reports and communicates issues / delays to director.
Support Operations to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new providers joining current employed or leased practices
Initiates business planning process and prepares supporting documentation.
Maintains 30/60/90 day agenda topics. Participates in check-in meetings and provides recommendations for improvement. Creates improvement metrics that are effectively communicated throughout the network
Prepare onboarding process metrics and other reports according to defined requirements
Develops and maintains onboarding orientation programs and clinical resources for newly acquired practices.
Provides training and orientation to HMH tools and applications ensuring compliance with timelines.
Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent healthcare leadership experience.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in physician relations or physician practice management, physician acquisitions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Experience in EMRs
Experience in hospital HR & Payroll systems
Experience servicing customers from diverse organizational levels
Comfortable with an environment that is growing/changing
Proven ability to multitask, problem-solve and work as part of a team
Ability to travel regularly within the network
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrate a professional and adaptable demeanor with internal and external clients, including administrators, physicians, peers, and support staff.
The ability to work with minimum supervision, set priorities, and follow through to accomplish results.
Exhibit a high energy level and demonstrate the ability to work within a team.
