Numerica Corporation RF Production Engineer in Fort Collins, Colorado

Numerica is seeking an RF Production Engineer to development algorithms and software for the automated test and calibration of state-of-the-art integrated RF systems. Working in small innovative teams, our engineers build solutions that make a difference. Our research endeavors don’t end once we’ve written a journal or conference paper describing our technology; rather, our work is complete when our technology has been deployed in mission-critical systems and our customers within government and industry are successful.

What You Will Do:

  • Produce revolutionary radar technology that delights our customers;

  • Test and troubleshoot RF assemblies;

  • Develop and support robust, reliant GUI-based software for automated radar calibration and verification;

  • Adhere to our ISO 9001:2015 standards and procedures;

  • Ensure on-time delivery of radar systems;

  • Support customers and radar field demonstrations;

  • Contribute to the direction of a talented small team with your expertise and ideas.

    Recommended Background and Experience:

  • An RF Production Engineer at Numerica should possess at least a BSEE and 2+ years of experience manufacturing RF products.

  • An RF Production Engineer should have a record of academic excellence and demonstrated experience in most of the following areas:

  • Antenna design and analysis: Antenna layout and tuning; feed design; impedance matching; computational EM analysis;

  • RF design and analysis: Microstrip circuit design; RF layout and simulation; phased array design experience;

  • Antenna and RF testing: Network analyzer S-parameter characterization; antenna pattern measurement;

  • Software engineering: Software design; algorithm implementation; software analysis, testing, and optimization;

  • Programming proficiency in Python and full-stack web development.

  • An RF Production Engineer should have effective written and verbal communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to convey salient details about advanced technology in a compelling manner to both experts and non-experts alike.

  • IPC-A-610 (Class 3) soldering experience is desirable.

    Salary range:  $80,900-$164,300 estimated annual base salary plus incentives

    Due to the security requirements of this position, a candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully pass a criminal background check.
