Job Description:

Welcome to Addison Gilbert Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health. Addison Gilbert Hospital is a full service, 70-bed medical/surgical acute care facility in Gloucester, MA. The Emergency Department Technician assists with the delivery of patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The primary responsibility will be focused on performing technical, therapeutic, and administrative tasks & procedures for which they have been trained. The ED Tech must demonstrate the ability & willingness to participate in a Patient Care Team as a multi-skilled caregiver responsible for quality of own work and remain flexible in response to changes.

Per diem, hours assigned as needed for night shifts.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Certified Nursing Assistant, EMT, Medical Assistant or equivalent experience preferred. Multi-skilled Associate Training in: EKG, Phlebotomy, Simple Respiratory & Rehabilitative function. Experience working with Emergency Department patients preferred. BLS required.
