Core responsibilities:

Able to analyze supplier capacity and supplier investment requests

Actively engaged with suppliers and supply chains

Ability to accurately assess supplier weaknesses and provide solutions

Monitor high risk supplier development issues to prevent crisis at our operations

Drive and develop supplier problem solving techniques for identified supplier fault issues

Fix and develop supplier production systems and processes to prevent impact to operations

Drive supplier operational excellence

Set focused priorities to reach objectives

Work in accordance with the processes the Code of Conduct and the company's Way

Represent at suppliers and escalate as needed to prevent crisis at our operations

Competence required for the position:

Skills:

supplier quality, root cause analysis, automotive, heavy equipment, quality, lean manufacturing

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

BS Engineering

The consultants will have to be based in Greensboro. First 3 months in the office, after that they could go hybrid depending on performance for 2-3 days a week.

Desired requirements:

OEM or Tier1 experience.

Experience within the automotive/trucking industry.

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
