Position Summary:
The position of Building Maintenance has primary responsibility for the construction and maintenance of all company buildings.
Responsibilities:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Commercial steel framing, painting, spackling and sheetrock installation.
• General carpentry work.
• Use chemicals and cleaning solutions to properly clean facilities.
• Light Plumbing.
• Use of various hand and power tools.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain equipment in a neat and clean fashion. Report any equipment issues to management.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management.
Education and Experience:
• High School or GED diploma a plus.
• 1-2 years’ experience in construction industry with steel framing, painting, spackling and sheetrock, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Skills and Abilities:
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
Physical effort may be required which includes prolonged standing, lifting, moving, or carrying heavy materials.
The operation of certain machinery requires eye, hand, and foot coordination.
Must have a valid driver license and a vehicle to travel between facilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Frequently works in inside work conditions which may vary from a warehouse environment to production floor to office setting with various noise levels.
• Sometimes works in outside weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.
• Frequently required to sit, talk, hear, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and walk.
• Constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate controls and reach with hands and arms.
• Requires strenuous physical labor including the ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
• Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
