Description/Job Summary
The Market and International Sales Specialist will work with all areas of the company to support Marketing and International Sales activities to grow sales. The role will support three primary initiatives: International Sales support, trade show management, and customer communication initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assignedInternational Sales Support
Provided timely response to international customers for product information, pricing, samples
Work with Customer Service and the plants to facilitate International Purchase Order execution
Manage Customer Price requests including responding to Bids and Product Pricing Proposals
Support international customer complaints and AR
Track International sales data across products and within products to help improve our understanding of our existing customers including support marketing and sales targeting
Assist with providing complete, current, and accurate information and analysis relating to international sales
Trade show management
Schedule and coordinate Trade Shows
Plan trade show with products, collateral and displays including shipping
Support and participate in trade shows as needed.
Keep cost records of trade show expenses
Provide sales leads generated from tradeshow and provide tracking
Customer Communication Initiative
Develop and maintain a system to provide monthly communications to customer groups and provide a channel for other customer-based communications as needed
Work with sales to develop and maintain a target customer list
Identify and implement a regular communication pattern to customers
Write copy and collateral targeted to specific markets
Communicate results to Marketing and Sales
Integrate this channel with other tools like our website and LinkedIn presence
Education and ExperienceBA/BS in Marketing, Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or another 4-year program plus S years of experience. Alternatively have 10+ years of business experience in sales and marketing interacting with customers, distributors, and trade organizations. An MBA or graduate training preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry with products and/or sales through distribution channels.
Experience with CRM communication tools like Hubspot or Constant Contact.
Working with customers in different countries and with different cultures
Ability to learn how to utilize various internal reporting tools and systems
Self-motivated and able to collaborate with a diverse set of people
Keen attention to detail
Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, the individual must have strong working knowledge and ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe. SAP or other ERP operating systems knowledge preferred.
