[IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL [to support our customer at Redstone Arsenal, AL in the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) program office.   • Test Engineer supporting the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) Program Office, responsible for supporting test and evaluation across FARA products.
  • Develop budget, schedule, and performance documentation for upcoming and ongoing test programs.
  • Support Test and Evaluation (TandE) lead and PM test team to include: planning and execution of Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), component and system level test programs, and test documentation.
  • Review and adjudicate submitted Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) artifacts to include Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Reports, and specifications.
  • Provide input to scopes of work (SOWs) to ensure appropriate test activities and CDRLs are incorporated.
  • Advise and assist with developing suitable test requirements based on external shareholder expectations.
  • Engage with external TandE organizations including Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), Director, Operational Test and Evaluation (DOTandE), and Director, Development Test, Evaluation, and Assessments (D,DTEandA)
  • Coordinate and assist in the development of Airworthiness Releases (AWRs).
  • Provide written and verbal assessments to management regarding status, issues, and risk.
  • Attend and provide feedback for Test and Evaluation Working-level Integrated Product Team (TandE WIPT) meetings, Combined Test Team (CTT) meetings, contract gate reviews, Technical Interface Meetings (TIMs), design reviews, and other test and technical meetings.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering discipline with at least five to ten (5-10) years of relevant experience.

Experience planning and executing test programs.

Experience with aircraft (Rotor/Fixed Wing) flight test experience

Knowledge of mechanical and electrical rotorcraft subsystems.
