H.F. Lenz Company has an opportunity for a CADD/REVIT Technician to support the MEP drafting and design of electrical building systems in Johnstown, PA. This role will ?perform drafting tasks using Autodesk Revit and other BIM360 applications for a diverse portfolio of ?projects related to commercial office buildings, government facilities and data-centers. ?

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design of electrical systems for MEP projects, including low-medium voltage, power systems, lighting systems, telecom and security systems
• Set up CADD drawings and Revit models, diagrams and layouts.
• Perform fundamental drafting techniques and coordinate with various engineering disciplines.
• Collaborate with engineering team members in cross-functional setting to ensure that the design is accurate and that contract responsibilities are met according to client's expectations.

Requirements:

• Associates or Technical Degree in Engineering Technology, CADD or applicable field of ?study.?
• 1-2 years of previous experience in building system design; electrical/power systems experience is highly preferred.?
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, 3D modeling and MS Office software applications is required.?
• Must have the ability to work occassional overtime.
• Some travel to project sites may be required.
