Position Summary

Business Growth Solutions (BGS) division supports Nestlé operating companies & other Nestlé units, by providing them with integrated trading solutions in a professional and cost-effective manner, while offering a platform for business development.

To reinforce the BGS team and contribute to our growth, we are currently looking for a Supply Planner for our Cross-Border e-Commerce (CBEC) China business, for Nestlé Health Science, Food and Beverage product categories.

Reporting to the Demand & Supply Planning Manager, your main responsibilities will be to meet consumers and customers demand by ensuring finished goods availability whilst optimizing total delivered costs through managing the E2E Supply Chain with an effective Monthly Business planning process.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure an 18-month Supply plan with our Producers across the world is in place to meet consumers and customer needs, considering both the network complexity and supply constraints.

• Establish and follow-up on E2E stock policies for Finished Goods – taking into account off-take of CBEC consumers.

• Understand business trends through data analysis and challenge demand planners’ forecasts.

• Analyze and effectively communicate supply issues:

a) Detailing impacts of proposed actions and related trade-offs, and

b) Ensuring actions and Supply Plans are realistic and achievable.

• Challenge Producers on a regular basis to review MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity), frozen production period to improve the supply performance and avoid risk of Bad Goods.

• Maintain and enhance SAP APO Master Data to automatize our ways of working.

• Develop inspiring and leading reporting to support decision making process.

Education and experience

• University’s Degree in Supply Chain, or related discipline.

• 3+ years of relevant operational experience in Demand and/or Supply Planning.

• Proficiency in SAP APO, MS Excel, PowerBi.

• Team player, with engaging communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across different cultures, functions and organizations.

• Open-minded, curious, looking for solutions to improve efficiency of operations – not afraid to take ownership and propose new ideas.

• Fluent in English (written & spoken).
