Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for driving technology and ensuring the timely and budget-friendly completion of activities. Your role will involve designing, developing, analyzing, documenting, and supporting the testing of products, systems, or subsystems. As a key team member, you will be expected to complete technical projects independently, as well as mentor and coach other engineers. Part of your role will involve reviewing customer specifications and requirements, then developing designs to best support them, with cost as a key design variable. You will also provide budget, cost, and schedule input for design assignments, document component and subsystem specifications, and assess designs as necessary. You will provide technical expertise and assistance to other engineers and support personnel, and participate in the preparation of complex and significant proposals. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact with manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and customers.

Hard Skills

  • 8+ years of Embedded firmware development

  • Great knowledge of the C language

Soft Skills

  • Ability to complete a technical project independently

  • Mentoring and coaching skills

  • Excellent communication skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Melbourne, Florida.
