As the main broadcaster of the Olympic Games in Europe, Eurosport has delivered a unique experience to its fans and achieved records for both linear and digital audiences. Already positioned as the main broadcaster of Cycling, Tennis Grand Slam and Winter Sports, the Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2 channels reach million subscribers across Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East.

Global Technology & Operations (GT&O) provides technological infrastructure and operations support to ensure audiences can enjoy Eurosport's programming around the world and across platforms.

The candidates must provide technical and operational support to Live Production systems including but not exclusively: Kula/Kahuna, VizRT, LiveTouch, Lawo, Powercore, Lama automix, Atos BNCS, studio solution, VR solution, etc. Working to maintain the highest levels of system reliability and user satisfaction during the live production.

Your responsabilities..

  • Technical support for PCR, MFR, DMR, SCR users,

  • Technical management of Live television production,

  • Athos BNCS system configuration for current production purposes,

  • vMix software operation – video streaming,

  • Technical support for replay systems LiveTouch operation,

  • Maintenance, configuration, and Programacion of KULA video mixers,

  • Lawo Ruby and Lawo 56m2 audio mixers support, configuration and conservation,

  • Basic competence in vizArt system,

  • EVERTZ encoders and decoders management and configuration changes,

  • Design and implementation work,

  • Testing of hardware and software,

  • System updates and configuration changes along with timetable,

  • Assurance of uninterrupted production flow,

  • Ongoing maintenance and repairs of hardware and network,

  • Knowledge of virtual machines technology,

  • Constant development of knowledge and skills relevant for the job,

  • Readiness to take on new tasks based on current business requirements,

  • Support and team approach to other Eurosport and Discovery teams and areas,

  • other tasks ordered by Supervisor/manager,

  • Work on different shift Day/Night/weekend.

Experience and skills..

  • Engineering degree (computer or broadcast),

  • Familiar with Broadcast technology,

  • Experience in Graphics engines such as Unreal 4 or Above,

  • Preferred experience in live sports events and sports production environment,

  • Preferred experience in technical managing ,

  • Familiar with reading/writing electrical and wiring drawings,

  • Knowledge of networking and multimedia transmission protocols,

  • Ability to juggle and effectively manage many requests and prioritize as needed,

  • Ability to work unsupervised, proactive,

  • Ability to work and remain calm under pressure,

  • Excellent people and interpersonal skills, good team player,

  • Excellent communication skills,

  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to different demands,

  • High levels of initiative, motivation, and time management,

  • Be part of the production team both as a leader and an operator,

  • Willingness to learn the use of all necessary technical equipment,

  • Available to work morning, evening, and weekend shifts,

  • Fluent written and spoken English.
