About the Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join The Decommissioning Alliance (TDA) team which is carrying out vital decommissioning work at Sellafield Site in Cumbria.

The role will involve;

• Production, review and endorse as appropriate Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans; undertaking associated compliance verification activities as appropriate

• Ensure the quality standards of the TDA Project are consistently met, raising the authorised project documentation where this is not the case

• Maintenance of package status & progress reporting, raising issues and liaising with the project and client QA/QC team.

• Support Internal and External Audits - track actions arising, so that systems can be improved and so that non-compliances are reduced

• Initiate Quality Grade Risk Assessment Meetings

Here’s what you’ll need :

• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor

• Professional Body Membership CQI or working towards

• Good understanding of the Quality Assurance and Control requirements in major projects across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning

• Ability to work autonomously and support the Quality Delivery Manager and Project Manager as part of a multi-disciplinary team
