Google Strategy and Operations Lead, Devices and Services in Mountain View, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience in a strategy or advisory role working with executives, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

  • 2 years of experience in a communications role (e.g., executive communications, public relations, etc.).

  • Experience writing for and working with C-suite executives, Executive Vice Presidents (VPs), or other executive leaders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building and executing new programs and managing them to scale.

  • Ability to think, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion while meeting project deadlines with effective attention to detail.

  • Ability to work well in fast-paced, high-stress environments.

  • Excellent storytelling and written/verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent project management skills.

The Strategy and Operations team supports Devices and Services by providing strategic guidance and scaled support needed to enable the growth of the business.

In this role, you will manage complex organizational and communications initiatives, and provide clear deliverables that influence leadership and help evolve the Devices and Services organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Develop, write and edit communications for executives including emails, talking points, and internal presentation decks, coordinating with stakeholders across different areas of the business and company.

  • Manage and consult on internal communications aspects of wider project plans to ensure internal audiences receive clear communications during times of uncertainty and change.

  • Define project goals, develop comprehensive cross-functional plans, track progress and report on status, risks, and remediation plans to stakeholders.

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including Planning, Operations, and Regional business teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

  • Act as a strategic partner to Devices and Services leadership providing insightful guidance and direction. Identify potential roadblocks and risks, developing mitigation plans to ensure business success.
