Learn more about benefits at Meta at this link: https://www.metacareers.com/facebook-life/benefits.Duties:Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. Be both a highly technical, hands-on coder and an effective people manager. Be a subject matter expert in at least one specific domain. (Examples: product, product infrastructure, infrastructure, machine learning). Lead teams that deliver on multiple projects of increasing dependencies in an ambiguous or high-impact area. Work with team and cross functional partners to define and influence strategy. Work on issues of diverse scope, and drive roadmap creation and execution. Collaborate with various functions, drive engineering initiatives and have an impact at an organizational level. Participate in technical design. Measure the impact of team and set clear expectations and goals. Manage, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of the team with responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing. Work effectively with cross functional partners and stakeholders to set and achieve optimal outcomes. Partner with leadership to influence and drive org design, contribution and prioritization. Number of direct reports may vary.Requirements:Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics or related field. Foreign degree equivalent accepted. Requires 60 months of progressive work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.Experience must include 60 months involving the following:1. Software engineering work experience, including hands-on technical management building infrastructure core components;2. Coding in one of the following languages: C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, or PHP; 3. Recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management; 4. Architecting, developing, and shipping software products and/or services; 5. Management experience with technical teams, or experience as a technical lead or project manager;6. Building products including front end technologies or backend systems; 7. Unix or Linux; 8. Designing and developing distributed systems, storage systems, or cache and data distribution infrastructure; 9. Scaling high performance, high throughput systems;10. Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems in large-scale systems; and11. Developing and managing requirements, and makingdata-driven decisions.

Minimum Salary: 275,346 Maximum Salary: 290,180 Salary Unit: Yearly
