Job Description
Job Summary:
• The Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Process Engineer will support and improve repair process linked to repair of Safran Nacelles (SNA) products.
Complementary Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Implement best practices from SNA MRO network in terms of methods, technical data access, tooling applicable to SNSA. Regular meetings with SNA MRO in France are expected. Support One Safran project.
• Implement and write generic work cards for recurrent critical repairs and Airworthiness Directives (ADs).
• Improve Generic solutions database and coverage. Analyze recurrent findings for all programs, identify repair subjects, and write instructions before submitting for approval to Repair engineer. Analysis of configuration and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) drawings will be necessary.
• Manage new tooling design, follow manufacture process with supplier.
• Lead the digitalization project of the shop floor, access of the tech data from the mechanics. Liaise with Quality manager to update the existing Repair Shop Manual (RSM) and Quality Control Manual (QCM).
• Propose improvement solution and generic tools to ease definition of Bill of Materials.
• Take an active role in with team in areas such as 5S, Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC), continuing improvement.
• Occasionally be asked to act as the Back-Up for the MRO Repair Engineer, providing a technical support to the production department.
Job Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Comfortable with Technical documentation such as maintenance manuals and engineering drawings.
• Good English writing and speaking level.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Positive attitude and agreeable to work with in an office environment
• Software: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SAP, technical drawings, softwares, Etc.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Aviation Related
• A plus, Master's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Aviation related.
