Production Lead - $22 - $26p/h DOE 8am -4:30pm Quakertown, PA

Primary Job Objective:

As a Production Lead, you will serve as the first line of communication on the production floor from an operational perspective. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who possess the ability to relate to employees at all levels. The Production Lead is responsible for maintaining workflows by leading team members and observing equipment, coordinating day to day production activities, and reporting procedures and systems, all while fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ability to contribute to a team effort to accomplish production goals.

• Maintain and support a superior safety culture and ensure all members of the manufacturing team are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace for our employees.

• Responsible for product quality, delivery reliability, ensuring production schedules are followed.

• Work closely with Production Supervisors to assist and provide tactical leadership, achieve financial and business objectives, and effectively achieve department production goals.

• Analyze workforce requirements and identify opportunities for growth.

• Conduct and provide coaching and guidance to direct reports.

• Own and re-enforce the COMPANY'S cultural core elements: Safety First, Wow The Customer, Relationships Matter, Do The Right Thing, and Can-Do Attitude

• Support implementation of the Company's Manufacturing Operating System (MOS)

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Previous experience and solid understanding of safety systems, safety culture and enforcement of safety rules and policies.

• 1-2 years progressive operational leadership experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably in a job shop environment.

• Established leadership, team building, and coaching skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working in a Manufacturing Operating System

• Commitment to upholding company culture and values

• Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written

• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative

• Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic and personal accountability

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.

Pay Details: $45,760.00 to $54,080.00 per year
