What you'll do

• Engage in the design, development, and maintenance of our Internal Developer Platform (IDP), focusing on automation, self-service capabilities, and the integration of a wide range of tools and technologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand developer needs and translate them into innovative platform features that enhance productivity and streamline workflows.

• Ensure the platform's reliability, scalability, and security, adhering to best practices in cloud-native development and infrastructure as code.

• Commit on project timeline and tasks, deliver on time with high quality.

• Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of our platform engineering practices and tools.

• Inspire and motivate colleagues by showcasing new technologies and methodologies that advance our platform's capabilities.

What you bring

• At least 2 years left for graduationas student for B.Sc. in Computer Science, from a known institute.

• Minimum 3 working days per week

• Knowledge and experience in one of the following (GO, Java, C#)

• Curiosity and ability to quickly understand and learn new technologies, concepts, and tools.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Team player.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluent in English.

Extra Points For

• Familiar with Kubernetes principles.

• Familiarity with cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud)

• Familiarity with development in microservices architecture

• Familiarity with cloud service monitoring and operations

We optimize our management tools and experiences to cater for efficient, automated, and scalable cloud management and operations.

Lately, we have completed re-shaping the platform with integrated cloud-native set of services that provide the core capabilities of the platform, building a consistent model for service providers and service consumers as part of the SAP Ecosystem and mass adoption by internal stakeholders has begun.

To be able to support the growing adoption and load, we are looking for a great people to join our Platform Engineering team.

In the era of rapid technology evolvement, platform engineering stands at the forefront. By focusing on improving developer experience and productivity through self-service capabilities and automated infrastructure operations, platform engineering is pivotal for accelerating the delivery of customer value. It embodies the synergy of technical prowess and broad collaboration across roles, facilitated by generative AI and cutting-edge toolchains. Our mission is to cultivate a seamless, self-service developer experience via Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), ensuring that our teams have access to a comprehensive suite of tools, capabilities, and processes designed for maximum efficiency and minimal cognitive load.

Joining the Platform Engineering Group, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of application delivery, leveraging the latest in cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices to empower our development teams and drive significant business outcomes.

You will work as a part of a highly motivated team and apply agile development practices like pair programming, test driven development and continuous integration and delivery. That also means getting familiar with the newest technologies and open-source projects.
