The Test Engineer 1 will develop new product test solutions for analog and mixed-signal products within the Analog Power and Interface Division (APID). The candidate will work in a team environment interacting with design, architecture, applications, marketing and product engineering.

The successful candidate will develop capabilities to perform the following duties:

  • Create device test plans.

  • Design test load boards and probe boards (schematic creation).

  • Write software for automated testers to create validation, characterization and production probe and final test programs.

  • Sustain and improve test programs to improve yield and cost of test for high volume production.

  • Hours must be flexible to accommodate communication with global team members.

Requirements

  • BSEE/BSEET degree (Electrical or Computer Engineering).

  • Must possess excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global multi-functional team environment.

  • Must have a good knowledge of semiconductor device physics.

  • Possess good programming skills. .

  • Knowledge of analog devices (CAN/LIN, Buck/Boost switching regulators, LDO’s, motor control, power drivers) is preferred.

  • Work within a global engineering team to maintain efficient, effective manufacturing (travel is a possibility).
