Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle, Washington is recruiting a BE/BC Intensivist to join our team.
Responsibilities
Virginia Mason, named one of America's 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades and Leapfrog's Hospital of the Decade, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Intensivist to join our leading Critical Care Team. Virginia Mason provides critical care in a state-of-the-art, 28-bed unit that opened in September 2014. We are looking for physicians who thrive in a highly collaborative environment and have a passion for resident and staff education. As leaders in quality improvement, it's also important that we find a physician who is interested in adding to this ongoing work. Responsibilities will include direct patient care, involvement in unit operations and leading daily multidisciplinary rounds. We work on a rotating schedule with a mix of day, night and swing shifts. The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to be part of a collaborative, quality driven team with a commitment to providing evidence-based care to the patients we serve.
Qualifications
ABA, ABIM, or ABS Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Critical Care
Candidates boarded in Emergency Medicine will be considered
Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA
Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
