Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our legal team as a Legal Intern. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of legal areas. The ideal candidate will be a current law student or recent graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for the law. The internship is a 12-week commitment running from either June 3rd - August 23rd, or June 17th to September 6th. This is a hybrid role with expectations of coming into the office about 2 - 3 times a week. What You'll Do Assist with contract management, including drafting and reviewing contracts with vendors, customers, and carriers. Provide support with administrative tasks such as filing, organizing, and managing documents. Assist with corporate governance matters, such as maintaining corporate records and ensuring compliance with corporate formalities. Review, summarize and analyze legal documents, including agreements, policies, and correspondence. Assist with intellectual property matters, such as trademark searches, maintaining and updating patent portfolio. Collaborate with attorneys and other team members on legal projects and initiatives. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Who You Are Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Forms, Smartsheet, Teams. Thrive in fast-paced environment and excel under pressure. Enjoy sharing a good laugh with teammates. Education and Experience Currently enrolled in an accredited law school or recent law school graduate. Strong academic record with coursework in relevant legal areas. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Prior internship or work experience in a legal setting is preferred but not required. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
