Google Customer Reference Marketing Manager, Security, Google Cloud in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 7 years of experience in marketing or a related technical field.

  • Experience working on cross-functional teams or managing cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in customer reference marketing.

  • Experience with cloud security technologies and software, including marketing security products used in cloud or SaaS environments.

  • Ability to take initiative and make decisions quickly amidst multiple stakeholders, and experience working collaboratively across marketing teams.

  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external constituents (e.g., customers, sales, product teams, etc.).

  • Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities.

As a Customer Reference Marketing Manager, you will work with leaders across Google Cloud, collaborating with teams in communications, product management, sales, and field marketing. You will blend high level, critical thinking with more tactical operational activities. You will be responsible for increasing our visibility, interactions, and market awareness as we expand our security products, communicate our value to customers, and grow our advocacy programs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Create and implement a holistic security customer reference strategy, and develop programs and opportunities for increased investment and impact scaling of the security customer advocacy program.

  • Execute the day-to-day implementation of our security customer reference program and serve as a key external contact for Google Cloud’s most valued security customers.

  • Identify and onboard new reference customers, manage and monitor customer reference activity, keeping data current, accurate, and up to date.

  • Engage with marketing, sales, product, and executive teams, on a daily basis, regarding customer advocacy.

  • Ensure a positive customer experience through day-to-day activities, and work as an advocate for our security customers internally.
