The Senior Product Manager - Technical will own the charter to build new Kindle software experiences for our devices.
The Sr. Product Manager - Technical will be able to wear several hats to build new software experiences for Kindle device customers worldwide. You drive prioritization across multiple teams, communication with internal stakeholders, VOCs with customers, and the adoption plan. You are an evangelist, taking a new product to market, defining success metrics, and accelerating adoption while simultaneously enhancing the customer experience.
Key job responsibilities
Inspire the team with the product vision, invent new ways to enable app development, and work cross-functionally to bring the product to life
Work with customers, internal and external partners to identify the right features, priorities and user journeys
Regular engagement with senior executives to represent your project within broader strategies
Partner with engineering leaders across orgs to align on the strategy for the program and technical implementation choices
Write business requirement documents and define use cases, features, and KPIs
Create the business case and go to market strategy
Manage the entire product life cycle from inception to launch
Plan and launch the product with customers, including Beta customers
Hire and develop the best by building/managing a team to deliver on your charter

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
