GKN Automotive is undergoing a significant transformation process. To drive this process, we are searching for a Product Development Engineer Implementation & Sustainability.

Represent window person for assigned customer engineering teams to Global Product Center (GPC) – Lubricants, CVJ Sealing Systems and Materials

Drive and support implementation of new generic products to the market

Define and conduct technical risk mitigations plans in case of changes to products within our area of responsibility

Develop customer specific products

Analyze and understand specific market needs and ensure their consideration for future developments

Cooperate with a various function within GKN and with our suppliers

Crucial Qualification, Experience and Skills

MSc or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or comparable

or equivalent experience in chemical

Strong capability of analyzing problems and drive their resolution

Well-developed interpersonal skills and collaboration capabilities

Profound understanding of all relevant manufacturing processes

Full professional proficiency in English and Japanese language
