Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Test and Verification Engineer for a direct hire role with one of their medical device clients. This role will be hands on and therefore will require 4 days a week onsite in their Northern Ohio location. This individual will be helping to stand up the Testing and Verification environment for the company's Dental Diagnostics X-Ray Devices. The person in this role should be confident in their abilities to work independently.

Other responsibilities will include:

 · Develops and validates test methods and protocols based on defined requirements for manual and automated testing

 · Designing reviewing, and executing verification protocols for medical devices, software, and firmware at the system level using various test methodologies for manual and automated testing

 · Leads collaboration within the functional team to create, review, and improve verification plans and traceability matrices.

 · Helps ensure conformance to applicable ISO standards and FDA regulations

 · Analyzes test data and generates reports that detail the results of product testing, including product performance, material performance, failure modes, correlation studies, and other relevant analysis.

 · Executes basic automated tests using multiple systems, platforms, environments, or browsers.

 · Conducts design of experiments (DOE) to understand the impact of variability on product performance.

 · Documents test results in a clear and concise manner and leads collaborative efforts resulting in improved verification practices and comprehensive traceability metrics

Skills and Requirements

* 4+ years of experience (this person will be helping to stand up this environment across the space -- therefore they need to be confident in their ability to work without hand holding)

* Experience writing their own test requirements

* Experience writing automated test scripts (C/C++, Python, JavaScript, etc.)

* Has tested products according to ISO standards

* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field NICE TO HAVE

* Prior experience in designing dental or medical equipment, or X-ray imaging devices or designing products by FDA guidelines

* knowledge of mechanical and electrical testing systems and tools, such as LabVIEW, PLCs, CAN devices, etc.

* green belt in Design for Six Sigma

* master's degree or higher

SOFT SKILLS

 Able to work independently

* Strong analytical and communication skills (written & verbal)

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

* Possesses the ability to define and analyze complex problems null
