Our Oracle Cloud Isolated Regions team is defining the next generation classified cloud platforms that meet the needs of global governments’ defence customers. These customer segments require OCI commercial services within a customer defined, custom built OCI realm that is completely isolated from the internet. Thrive in this crucial role!

What you’ll do

As a Senior Principal Technical Program Manager on the OCI G2S team, you will be responsible for analysing and delivering upon the physical and logical requirements needed to fulfil commitments to meet our government clients’ business objectives. You will:

  • Launch Oracle Cloud Isolated regions for our customers, Oracle field, and partners

  • Work with strategic UK government customers and Oracle partner teams to understand their requirements, influence product roadmaps, and drive engineering solutions to meet customer needs.

  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and engineers to assess application portfolios ensuring that cloud solutions are highly scalable, flexible and resilient.

  • Influence not only how our solutions will be delivered, but also understand potential impacts to operational and compliance teams, identifying risks before they become problems.

  • Act as the liaison between Engineering, Security, Compliance, Marketing, Sales, Legal, and other cross-functional teams on complex efforts to meet customer needs.

  • Work with internal teams to understand product documentation requirements and create quality business and technical documentation for internal and external use.

  • Develop standards and protocols with team members for project documentation.

  • Partner with program and product managers to create regular reporting documentation on relevant issues to drive towards successful resolution before risks turn to roadblocks.

  • Interface with customers to discuss detailed requirements, engage appropriate stakeholders, and execute delivery.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 7+ years equivalent experience.

  • Experience in UK government security policies and procedures, including information security management system specifications and facility accreditation standards.

  • Experience analysing business data, identifying gaps, and taking action to resolve.

  • Superlative written and verbal communication skills.

  • Understanding of military and/or intelligence communities.

  • Strong collaboration and judgment skills, with background in supporting both product development and sales/marketing team documentation.

  • Technical understanding of enterprise level cloud technologies or a background that enables you to understand cloud infrastructure.

  • Flexibility to succeed under evolving business constraints and priorities. Self-driven, analytical, and results oriented with negotiation/influence skills and leadership skills.

  • UK citizenship and prepared to undertake the UK Government Security Vetting process
