Looking for Tech Lead software Engineer

Remote Work

please see if any align – cloud network servers- moving prem to cloud, need someone to help drive and upgrade.

Good understanding of different Technologies.

  • Cloud

  • Network

  • Servers

  • Databases (Oracle, SQL,etc.)

  • Mainframe(nice to have)

  • File transfer software (Bizlink nice to have)

  • Programming Languages.

  • Tools (Excel, vsio, etc.)

  • “Java would be a nice to have, but we are trying to sunset that. I am thinking XML/XSLT, Oracle SQL Plus. .net would be nice. I don't think the tech lead will be doing a lot of programming (if any) but having a solid programming background logically understanding programming logic, standards, concepts, etc. is needed”

Project Planning/Execution

  • Working with LOB/Business to develop Business requirements

  • Translating Business Requirements to Technical Requirements

  • Translating Technical requirements to Technical Specs

  • Work closely with BA’s/Programmers to set appropriate timeframes and expectations

  • Trouble shooting errors/issues

  • Status Reporting

  • Test planning/execution

  • Developing Implementation plans/Execution of plan

  • Ability to multi task

Personal Skills

  • Ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical resources

  • Effectively work with other technical areas (DBA’s, EA, Network,Support…)

  • Ability to work effectively with Vendors

  • Prioritize issues, task, …

  • Be proactive, don’t wait until small issues become big issues. Escalate when needed, get help when needed.

  • Contributes to technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts for developing code.
