JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview

This Assistant Vice President and Lead Actuarial Data Analyst position is responsible for creating/managing data pipelines, delivering on reporting projects, and positioning Commercial Insurance (CI) Actuarial team to maximize analytical insights in support of the Commercial Insurance Division. The role is based in our Whitehouse Station, NJ office (location flexible) and reports to the Data, Systems, & Strategy Lead for CI Actuarial. There is flexibility to fill this position at a lower job grade for a qualified candidate with less than 7 years of experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide data preparation and data management support to Commercial Insurance Actuarial Team across all product lines
Develop dashboards and analytical tools to support actuarial rate monitoring and underwriting portfolio monitoring
Work with the IT and predictive analytics teams to support strategic initiatives
Help identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Special projects and other ad-hoc requests
