Summer 2025! As a Business Leadership Intern, you will work closely with our Leadership Teams to support various aspects of business operations within the ready-mix concrete industry. This internship is designed to provide exposure to strategic planning, process improvement, project management, and overall business development. Responsible For: 1. Strategic Planning: * Contribute to the development and execution of strategic business plans. * Assist in analyzing market trends and industry data to identify growth opportunities. 2. Operational Support: * Collaborate with different departments to streamline and improve business processes. * Support the implementation of operational efficiency initiatives. 3. Project Management: * Assist in planning and coordinating projects related to business development and process optimization. * Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved. 4. Data Analysis: * Analyze financial and operational data to generate insights and support decision-making. * Prepare reports and presentations for leadership review. 5. Market Research: * Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. * Provide insights to assist in strategic decision-making. What we are looking for: * Currently enrolled in the Concrete Industry Management Program at South Dakota State University, summer between junior/senior year. * Familiarity with all commonly used computer software (MS OfficeSuite, etc.). * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Eagerness to learn and contribute to business operations in a dynamic industry.
